Position: Service Manager
Location: Birmingham area, UK
As the Service Manager at Malmberg AB, you will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of skilled service technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
- Service Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and management of all service operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of maintenance, repairs, and technical support.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service quality, response times, and overall departmental efficiency.
- Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, tools, and equipment, to meet service demand while controlling costs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the service department.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and project management teams to align service offerings with customer requirements and project timelines.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
– Proven Experience: A track record of 5 years in service management, preferably in the energy, environmental technology, or related industries.
– Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and guide a diverse team towards shared goals.
– Technical Expertise: Familiarity with biogas, water treatment, or renewable energy systems is advantageous, along with a solid technical background.
– Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
– Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges, coupled with a strategic mindset for continuous improvement.
– Organizational Acumen: Proficiency in resource management, project planning, and KPI tracking.
